Here’s
your chance for the experience of a lifetime.
You will be able
to experience first hand the thrill and excitement of driving a
real COBB & Co Stagecoach with a team of Clydesdale horses in
the outback of Australia .
You’ll be up on the box
seat taking the reins and being part of a team with two gentle
giants experiencing history and real horsepower.
Upon arrival
you will be greeted by our friendly crew and checked in for your
experience.
First you will be shown to our stables where
you can relax with some light refreshments as you enjoy the Rural
Heritage DVD’s on harnessing & driving draft horses.
You’ll be watching and learning from one of the Worlds
leading horsemen and drivers as he takes his steeds through their
paces.
Then you’ll begin your hands on experience
getting to know the horses and learning about the coach and how to
harness and hitch the horses.
Now its time for you to take the
reins and practice a little ground driving before mounting up to
take the reins of this classic coach where we take an on the box
photo, which will be mounted on your specially designed
certificate.
Your Co-driver guides you through the each
stage of handling the horses until you get the feel of things and
are comfortable, explaining the necessary skills and commands for
optimum control, safety and performance.
Then it’s time
to hit the track and put all you have learnt into action driving
through the outback countryside.
You will experience first hand
what it takes to drive and be part of the team with the horses.
Hear their hooves and enjoy the sights sounds and smells of the
countryside as you never have before, the way it used to be when
COBB & Co were the Jumbo Jets of their day.
This is
an experience you will be able to carry with you for the rest of
your life, the feel of the power in your hands and the response of
the team to your commands.
